  • A runner’s time will be based on how many times he/she can bench press the weight for their gender and age category. There are four lifting divisions. Runners may scale their weight, but will not receive a time deduction.
  • Men 39 and under – Contestants will bench press 145lbs
  • Men 40 and over – Contestants will bench press 115lbs
  • Men 55 and over – Contestants will bench press 95lbs
  • Women 39 and under – Contestants will bench press 65lbs
  • Women 40 to 54 – Contestants will bench press 45lbs
  • Women 55 and over – Contestants will bench press 35lbs
  • Those participating in the 5k only will not be competing in the above divisions.
